Sanders Family Office operates out of the broader San Antonio and Texas Hill Country area, serving as a syndicator and provider of alternative investment opportunities. Utilizing our extensive background in real estate, insurance, and financial services, we curate proprietary alternative products designed to provide participants robust collateralization and risk mitigation coupled with outsized returns. These opportunities are designed either to provide financing for third-party real estate developers or for “in-house” projects overseen directly by Sanders Family Office as the owner/developer with a concerted focus on high-end hospitality projects.

  • Mrs. Margaret Sanders is a seasoned real estate investor and entrepreneur with key focus on alternative investment in real estate and insurance. Senior Managing Director. Margaret has extensive experience in various aspects of commercial real estate, including property management for the portfolio assets of SWEL (Seligman Western Enterprises LTD) and acting as a high-end leasing agent for the Taubman Company. Since 2003, she became independent, entering the insurance business, forming and owning multiple life insurance agencies throughout her career to date.


  • As the second generation of the family office, Luke Sanders has served SFO full-time since 2020, first in the capacity of Vice President of Operations and currently as President. Luke received his education at Hillsdale College and Oxford University, and is completing a master’s degree at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology. His primary duties involve management of numerous agent groups across the United States which offer alternative asset products and opportunities curated by SFO. In addition, Luke interfaces heavily with prospective lenders, investors, and partners in the developmental real estate projects managed by the family office.

  • Mel has formed, owned, and operated several businesses in real estate, renewable energy, warehousing, and distribution. Entrepreneurship has always been the driving force in his career. He is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, with a degree in genetics and zoology.

  • Sean Sanders contributes high-end retail management experience and conducts back-office management of SFO’s insurance agencies.

  • Rhiannon Sanders is a certified professional organizational consultant and applies her expertise through exceptional maintenance of back- office organization and administration for SFO Texas.
